Manage Reports
- This page allows you to design, modify, and schedule custom and standard reports. Reports are displayed on two tabs: Custom Reports and Standard Reports.
- Click the report icon to print a list of completed reports.
- To filter report results, select a filter from the For Column drop-down list, enter or select filter constraints and click Apply Filter. For example, to show reports for "Building 1", select Name, enter "Building 1", and click Apply Filter.
Custom Reports
- A table contains all custom report design definitions. Items in the table include:
- Name - The report definition name. Click the report name to modify the report definition.
- Description - The description given to the report definition by the user who saved it.
- Scheduled - Indicates if this report definition has been set up to run on a schedule.
- Run Status - Indicates if the report is complete, running, suspended, not running, or when a scheduled report will be run next.
- Run Report - Click on the PDF icon to run the report in PDF format. Click on the Microsoft Excel icon to run the report in Excel format.
- Click Create Custom Report to access the report designer.
- Click Import Custom Report to retrieve a custom report definition from your local file system. Browse for the report definition (.RDL file) and then click Import.
- Actions - Indicates what actions you can take for the report, including:
- Create/Replace Schedule - Create a new or replace existing schedule(s) for the selected report(s). The new schedule will overwrite any existing schedules.
- Append Schedule Events - Add additional dates to the report schedule.
- Append E-mail Recipients - Add additional e-mail recipients to the report.
- Suspend/Resume Schedules - Suspend active report schedules or resume schedules that were previously suspended.
- Cancel Schedules - Cancel the report schedule, so the report will no longer be run or e-mailed.
- Delete Reports - Delete the custom report definitions from the system. Note that no data is deleted, only the report definition.
- Export Report - Export the report definition to RDL format and save it to a local drive. Use this feature to create generic reports and reuse those report definitions. You can also back up reports to a local directory.
- View/Edit Report Schedule - Modify the report schedule.
Standard Reports
- A table contains all custom report design definitions. Items in the table include:
- Name - The report definition name. Click the report name to modify the report definition.
- Report Type - The type of standard report.
- Report Content - Displays the elements included in the report.
- Scheduled - Indicates if this report definition has been set up to run on a schedule.
- Run Status - Indicates if the report is complete, running, suspended, not running, or when a scheduled report will be run next.
- Run in Background- Click on the PDF icon to run the report in PDF format.
- Click Create Standard Report to create a new standard report.
- Actions - Indicates what actions you can take for the report, including:
