Reports: Scheduling, Exporting, and E-mail Notifications

Once you have created a custom report, you can schedule that report to run at regular intervals, export the report, and set up e-mail notifications so that interested parties receive reports when they are generated.

 

Scheduling Reports

To schedule a report or edit a report's schedule:

  1. Click Reports | Manage Reports.
  2. Click the Custom Reports tab.
  3. Select one or more reports and click Actions | Edit Report Schedule.
  1. Select or change the report schedule's dates, time, and recurrence.
  2. Click Save.

 

If you want to run a report immediately (not wait until its next scheduled recurrence):

  1. Click Reports | Manage Reports.
  2. Click the Custom Reports tab.
  3. Next to the report name, click the either the PDF or Excel icon. When your report is complete, a pop up will allow you to open the report. Your completed report is also available on the Completed Reports page.

 

Exporting Reports

To export reports to Adobe PDF or CSV format and save them to your local drive:

  1. Click Reports | Manage Reports.
  2. Click the Custom Reports tab.
  3. Select the report and click Actions | Export Report.
  4. Select the appropriate file format and save the file to your local drive.

 

Enabling E-mail Notifications

Tracer Ensemble can e-mail completed reports to any recipient that you specify (not only Tracer Ensemble Administrators). To set up e-mail notifications for a report:

  1. Click Reports | Manage Reports.
  2. Click the Custom Reports tab.
  3. Select one or more reports and click
  4. Next to the report name, click the Set Up E-mail icon.
  5. Enter a Subject and Body for the e-mail.
  6. Select the Tracer Ensemble Users to receive the e-mail. Select the user name and click Add.
  7. To send reports via e-mail to non-Tracer Ensemble users, enter the e-mail addresses in the Add Additional E-mail Recipients box.
