Output Points
If you clicked Override from an output page, the override page permits you to do the following:
- Override or release an override on the point at a specified priority level: Select Override Point, set Apply at Priority Level to the level at which you want to apply your override, and then select either Release or Change Value To (with a specified value in the drop-down box).
- Optionally, you can select Allow this override to expire, and then specify how many seconds, minutes, hours, or days it must wait before expiring.
- If your user profile is assigned to a role with point service permission, you can select In Service to put the point into service or you can select Out of Service to put the point out of service.
Note: Analog, binary, and multistate inputs cannot be overridden. To change the Present Value of an analog, binary, or multistate input, set the point as Out of Service and edit the point's Present Value.
Input Points
If you clicked Override from an input page, you can select In Service to put the point into service or you can select Out of Service, and then select a value in the Set value to field to put the point out of service. (Note: You cannot perform an override on an input point unless your user profile is assigned to a role with point service permission.)
