Modem Name - BCU Phone Book
- This page permits you to view and make changes to the modem dialing information and the phone numbers in the phone list for the modem.
- Click Add BCU Phone Number to add a new recipient to the phone book.
- Click Edit Dialing Information to change the dialing information that is used every time the modem dials a number.
- Select the name of an alarm recipient and click Edit to open a popup window that permits you to make changes to any of the settings shown in the table:
- Alarm Recipient Type can be a workstation or pager - the choice determines which alarm message template is used.
- Name is a user-defined field that should make it easy for users to identify the alarm recipient.
- Phone Number is the unique number used to dial the recipient, without any dialing prefixes.
- Dialing Prefix is typically a number required by facility to get a dial tone or access an outside line. Selecting Yes or No for a recipient in the table indicates whether or not the dialing prefix needs to be used for calling that recipient.
- Calling Card is a series of numbers from long distance calling card that may be needed to place a long-distance telephone call. Selecting Yes or No for a recipient in the table indicates whether or not the calling card number needs to be used for calling that recipient.
