Manage Alarm Actions
The Manage Alarm Actions page allows you to create new, edit, and delete e-mail routing and alarm escalation rules.
Add New
Click Create Alarm Action Rule to create a new rule.
View Existing
To filter the alarm action rules, select filter criteria and click Apply Filter.
A table shows all of the alarm action rules in the system. Here are definitions of the items in the table:
- Name - The user-defined name of the alarm action rule. Click on a rule's name to view or make changes to rule details.
- Effective Categories - Alarms of this category qualify for this rule.
- Buildings/Attributes - Buildings and selected attributes included in this rule.
- Days and Times - Indicates when the rule applies.
- Alarm Actions - Indicates it is an e-mail routing rule or an alarm escalation rule.
Delete
To delete a rule, select one or more rule(s) and click Delete to remove them from the system.
