Heat Pump Loop Control (HPLC)

Property Type Description

Compressor Control: Active

Binary

This property indicates the current value that is being communicated by the system to the heat pump members and used to disable their compressors.  0=DISABLE COMPRESSOR, 1=AUTO

Compressor Control: Ref

Property Reference

This property indicates the value to be used by the BCU to determine which value to communicate to the heat pump members to enable or disable their compressor(s).

Continuous Operation: Setup

Binary

This property is used to assign the Heat Pump Loop Control into the continuous operation mode.

Load: Cooling

Numeric

This is the sum of the cooling loads from all heat pump members.

Load: Heating

Numeric

This is the sum of the heating loads from all heat pump members.

Loop Controller Mode

Op Mode

This property is the mode to which the application is controlling the loop controller.  The possible modes are UNOCCUPIED, OPTIMAL START, OCCUPIED and NIGHT HEAT-COOL.

Loop Controller: Ref

Object Reference

This referencer specifies the object which serves as the loop controller, such as the UPCM, PCM or TLC.

Member List

Object Reference

This is the list of the heat pumps which are assigned as members of this application.

Object Identifier

Object ID

Unique hexadecimal ID of this object. This ID is used internally to identify the object.

Object Name

Character

This is the name assigned to the object. Range: Up to 32 characters.

Object Type

Multi-State

Designates object’s type (i.e., analog input, binary output, TCM, PCM, etc.).

Requests To Run: Active

Numeric

This property is the total number of heat pump members whose terminal load is greater than or equal to 30% or less than or equal to -30%.

Requests To Run: Threshold

Numeric

When the system is in the Unoccupied Mode and the value of the "Requests to Run: Active" property reaches this threshold, the system will transition into the Night Heat-Cool Mode.

Security Class

Bit String

This property contains the security class setup information for the Heat Pump Loop Control object.

Startup Enable: Ref

Property Reference

When the system is in the Unoccupied Mode, this referencer determines if the system should transition into the Optimal Start Mode.
