Alarm Event Class

An index into the event action table.  The event action table contains both a set of instructions for alarm routing and a list of referencer objects (the potential receivers).

External Interface File (XIF)

 Text String

The name of the external interface file (XIF).  The XIF contains data including the network variable (NV) name, NV type, NV index number and the name of the manufacturer.

Used to provide descriptive location information.

LonTalk Communication State

Numeric

This property indicates the status of communications between the BCU and the GLD.
0 = Down
1 = Up
2 = No neuron ID assigned
3 = Installation in progress
4 = Incomplete bindings

LonTalk Device NID

Bytestring

The Neuron ID (NID) of the GLD. This is a unique, 12 digit, non-adjustable serial number found on evry Neuron chip.

LonTalk DSN

A comma-separated value representing the domain, subnet and node ID (DSN) of the DLD.

LonTalk Program ID

Numeric

An identifier stored in the device (in the Neuron Chip's EEPROM) that identified the application program running on the node. All nodes with the same program ID must have the same external interface.

Manufacturer

Text String

The manufacturer of the GLD as provided in the XIF file.

Node Self Doc

Text String

The detailed description of the LonTalk device as provided in the XIF file.

Node State

Multi-State

The current operating condition of the Neuron Microprocessor.  Possible conditions are:
Normal
Unconfigured
Unconfigured/No application
Configured/Online
Configured/Online (soft)
Configured/Online (hard)
Configured/Online (bypass)
Unsupported

Object Name

Text String

This property allows the assignment of a unique printable name to the object for user identification.
