Absorber Water Flow Rate Numeric This is the rate of cooling water flow through the absorber measured in gallons per minute (gpm) (Same value as Condenser Water Flow Rate)
Absorber Water Flow Status Binary This is the status of the condenser/absorber water flow switch input on the UCP2. (Same value as Condenser Water Flow Status).
Absorber Water Press: Delta Numeric This is the total water pressure drop across the absorber and the condenser which are piped in series. (Same value as Condenser Water Pressure: Delta)
Absorber Water Press: Entering Numeric This is the active pressure value (measured in psig) of the water flowing into the absorber. (Same value as Condenser Water Pressure: Entering)
Absorber Water Press: Leaving Numeric This is the active pressure value (measured in psig) of the water flowing out of the condenser. (Same value as Condenser Water Pressure: Leaving)
Absorber Water Pump Output Binary This is the active status of a binary output on the UCP2, which is used to turn the absorber/condenser water pump ON and OFF. (Same value as Condenser Water Pump Output)
Absorber Water Temp: Delta Numeric This is the temperature change across the absorber of the fluid (usually water) flowing through the absorber. This value is calculated by subtracting the absorber Water Temperature: Entering value from the Absorber Water Temperature: Leaving value.
Absorber Water Temp: Entering Numeric This is the temperature of the water entering the Absorber.
Absorber Water Temp: Leaving Numeric This is the temperature of the water leaving the Absorber. (Same value as Condenser Water Temp: Entering).
Alarm Event Class [1–3] Numeric This is a three element array containing entries for alarm classes Manual Reset, Auto Reset, & Informational diagnostics. Each entry contains an index into the event action table. The event action table contains both a set of instructions for alarm routing, and a list of referencer objects (the potential receivers).
Alarm Output Binary This is the status of the binary output for alarms on the UCP2.
Base Load Ch Wtr Setpt: Ref Numeric This is the value to be used by the BCU to determine which value to communicate to the UCM as the base loading chilled water setpoint.
Base Load Ch Wtr Setpt: Tracer Numeric This property is the Tracers request for a base load chilled water setpoint. It will be used as a chilled water setpoint by the chiller if it is in the Base Loading mode. To relinquish control of the setpoint, a null referencer must be assigned. Units: F or C. Range: 38 to 60 F (3.3 to 15.5 C). Default: 44 F (6.7 C).
Base Loading Request: Ref Property Reference This is the value to be used by the BCU to determine which value to communicate to the UCM to request base loading.
Base Loading Request: Tracer Binary This property is used to control the Base Loading mode of the chiller Auto (1) or Off (0) from the Tracer. Default: Off.
Base Loading Status Binary This is the active operating status of the Base Loading mode.
Chilled Water Flow Rate Numeric This is the rate of fluid flow through the evaporator measured in gallons per minute (gpm).
Chilled Water Flow Status Binary This is the status of the chilled water flow switch input on the UCP2.
Chilled Water Pressure: Delta Numeric This is the pressure drop across the evaporator of the fluid flowing through the evaporator. Calculated by subtracting the Chilled Water Pressure: Entering value from the Chilled Water Pressure: Leaving value.
Chilled Water Pressure: Entering Numeric This property indicates the value (measured in psig) for the pressure of the fluid entering the evaporator.
Chilled Water Pressure: Leaving Numeric This is the value (measured in psig) for the pressure of the fluid leaving the evaporator.
Chilled Water Pump Output Binary Indicates the active mode of the binary output used to enable and disable the chilled water pump (ON or OFF).
Chilled Water Reset Type Multi-State This is the method the control algorithm in the UCP2 uses to reset the leaving chilled water temperature. The algorithm can be calculated based on Returned Chilled Water (1), Constant Return (2), Outside Air Temperature (3), or it can be completely disabled (0).
Chilled Water Setpoint: Active Numeric This is the value being used by the UCP2 for chilled water temperature control.
Chilled Water Setpoint: External Numeric An optional external analog input can be wired to the UCP2 and used for the chilled water setpoint. If the chiller has this option installed, this is the value being received from that external analog input.
Chilled Water Setpoint: Ref Property Reference This is the value to be used by the BCU to determine which value to communicate to the UCM as the chilled water setpoint.
Chilled Water Setpoint: Source Multi-State This indicates where the Chilled Water Setpoint: Active is being generated The available sources are: front panel, external, and Tracer.
Chilled Water Setpoint: Tracer Numeric This property is the Tracer’s request for chilled water temperature setpoint. It will be used as the Leaving Evaporator Water setpoint by the chiller. To relinquish control of the setpoint, a null referencer must be assigned. Units: F or C. Range: 38 to 60 F (3.3 to 15.5 C). Default: 44 F (6.7 C).

Chilled Wtr Pump Request: Ref Property Reference This is the value to be used by the BCU to determine which value to communicate to the UCM to control the chilled water pump.
Chilled Wtr Pump Request: Tracer Binary This property is used to turn the Chilled Water Pump Output of the chiller On (1) or place it in the Auto (0) mode from the Tracer. Default: Auto.
Chiller Enable/Disable: External Binary This is the active status of a binary input on the UCP2 for an external device (typically not a BCU) used to enable and disable the chiller.
Chiller Enable/Disable: Tracer Binary This property is used to place the chiller in Auto (1) or Stop (0) from the Tracer. (Priority arbitrated by PRESENT_VALUE)
Chiller Mode Binary This is the active operating status of the Chiller mode
Communication Address Numeric This property provides access to the assigned communications address value of the UCM being represented.
Communication Bad Message Count Numeric This is a property for keeping track of the number of message errors which occur when attempting to communicate with the UCM hardware
Communication Channel Numeric This property provides access to the assigned communications channel value of the UCM being represented.
Communication Error Count Numeric This is a property for keeping track of the number of communications errors that occur when attempting to communicate with the UCM hardware
Communication No Answer Count Numeric This is a property for keeping track of the number of unanswered communications with the UCM hardware
Communication State Binary This property indicates the status of communications between the BCU and the UCM.
0 = Down, 1 = Up
Cond Water Pump Request: Ref Property Reference This is the value to be used by the BCU to determine which value to communicate to the UCM to control the condenser water pump
Cond Water Pump Request: Tracer Binary This property is used to turn the Condenser Water Pump Output of the chiller On (1) or place it in the Auto (0) mode from the Tracer. Default: Auto
Condenser Approach Temperature Numeric This is the condenser approach temperature, which is calculated as the difference between the Condenser Water Temp: Leaving and Condenser Saturated Refrigerant Temperature properties
Condenser Saturated Refrig Temp Binary This is the active status of the condenser refrigerant temperature input on the UCP2.
Condenser Water Flow Rate Numeric This is in gallons per minute (gpm) the rate of water flow through the condenser. (Same value as Absorber Water Flow Rate).
Condenser Water Flow Status Binary This is the status of the water flow switch input on the UCP2. (Same value as Absorber Water Flow Status)
Condenser Water Press: Delta Numeric This is the total water pressure drop across the absorber and condenser which are piped in series. (Same value as Absorber Water Pressure: Delta)

Condenser Water Press: Leaving Numeric This is the value (measured in psig) of the pressure of the water leaving the condenser. Note: The absorber and the condenser are piped in series. (Same value as Absorber Water Pressure: Leaving)
Condenser Water Pump Output Binary This is the active status of the binary output on the UCP2 used to control the absorber/condenser water pump ON and OFF. (Same value as Absorber Water Pump Output)
Condenser Water Temp: Delta Numeric This is the temperature change across the condenser of the fluid (usually water) flowing through the condenser. This value is calculated by subtracting the Condenser Water Temperature: Entering value from the Condenser Water Temperature: Leaving value.
Condenser Water Temp: Entering Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the water entering the condenser. (Same value as Absorber Water Temp: Leaving).
Condenser Water Temp: Leaving Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the water leaving the condenser.
Control Event Class Numeric Contains the Alarm and Message Routing Class number (1–20) that is used to route messages when this object is controlled.
Diag: Automatic Reset Binary This property indicates that a diagnostic exists which takes part or all of the chiller off-line. The diagnostic will automatically be reset when the condition causing the diagnostic is fixed. 0 = None Detected, 1 = Active
Diag: Information Warning Binary This property indicates that a diagnostic exists which informs or warns but does not cause the chiller to stop running.
Diag: Manual Reset Required Binary This property indicates that a diagnostic exists that causes the chiller to shut down. The chiller remains off-line until a reset is initiated. Reset can be initiated at the chiller front panel.

Note: Not all diagnostics can be reset in the Tracer Summit UCM Editor.

Dilute Soln Temp Lvg Absorber Numeric This property indicates the active temperature of the water/lithium-bromide solution leaving the absorber.
Dilute Solution Temp Ent HTG Numeric This property indicates the active temperature of the water/lithium-bromide solution entering the high temperature generator. This applies to 2-stage absorption chillers only.
Dilute Solution Temp Lvg HTHX Numeric This property indicates the active temperature of the water/lithium-bromide solution leaving the high temperature heat exchanger. This applies to 2-stage absorption chillers only.
Dilute Solution Temp Lvg LTHX Numeric This property indicates the active temperature of the water/lithium-bromide solution leaving the low temperature heat exchanger. This applies to 2-stage absorption chillers only.
Economizer #1: Valve Position Numeric This property indicates the active status (in % open) of the stepper motor that controls the valve on the primary economizer.
Economizer #2: Valve Position Numeric This property indicates the active status (in % open) of the stepper motor that controls the valve on the secondary economizer.
Emergency Stop: External Binary This property is a binary input to the UCP2, which allows an external device to completely shut down the chiller on an immediate/emergency basis.
Energy Valve Motor Position Numeric This property indicates the active status (in % open) of the motor that controls the valve in line to the generator (hot water or steam).
Evaporator Approach Temperature Numeric This is the evaporator approach temperature which is calculated as the difference between the Evaporator Water Temperature: Leaving and Evaporator Saturated Refrigerant Temperature.
Evaporator Saturated Refrg Temp Numeric This property indicates the refrigerant temperature measured on the discharge side of the evaporator.
Generator Hot Water Temp: Ent Numeric This property indicates the active temperature of the hot water entering the generator. This property applies to single-stage, hot water absorption chillers only.
Generator Hot Water Temp: Lvg Numeric This property indicates the active temperature of the hot water leaving the generator. This property applies to single-stage, hot water absorption chillers only.
Head Relief Request Binary This property indicates the status of the binary output on the UCP2 which indicates a request for head relief.
Heat Sink Temperature Numeric This property only applies when the chiller has the optional solid state starter installed. It indicates active temperature in the heat sink of the solid state starter and is used in the start inhibit algorithm.
ICS Operating Mode: Active Multi-State This property is the Tracer Summit desired control mode. It will contain an enumerated value representing one of the 9 standard control modes used by the system. Currently, UCP2 cannot do ICS Operating Mode processing, so, this property is just used to store the desired control mode for diagnostic purposes.
Interstage Solution Temp Ent LTG Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the interstage water/lithium-bromide solution as it enters the low temperature generator (LTG). This property applies to 2-stage absorption chillers only.
Interstage Solution Temp Lvg HTG Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the interstage water/lithium-bromide solution as it leaves the high temperature generator (HTG). This property applies to 2-stage absorption chillers only.
Interstage Vapor Pressure Numeric This property indicates the pressure (measured in psig) of the water vapor driving the second stage. This property applies to 2-stage absorption chillers only.
Intmd Temp at Absorber Spray Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the intermediate water/lithium-bromide solution at the absorber spray tree.
Last Control Date Time Date/Time Numeric This indicates the date and time when the present value property of this object was last controlled.
LiBr Crystallization Temp Numeric This property indicates the temperature at which the water/lithium-bromide solution will crystallize in the chiller. This value is calculated as part of the crystallization protection algorithm.
Limit Warning Output Binary This property indicates the active status of a binary output on the chiller which is typically wired to an external device (i.e., an alarm) that lets the operator know when the chiller is in the limit mode.
Maximum Capacity Binary This property is the active status of a binary output on the chiller which indicates when the chiller has reached maximum capacity.
Minimum Off Time Numeric This property provides access to the minimum off time assigned to the UCM being represented. This value serves to protect the hardware from cycle times which might harm the hardware.
Minimum On Time Numeric This property provides access to the minimum on time assigned to the UCM being represented. This value serves to protect the hardware from cycle times which might harm the hardware.
Minimum Time Remaining Numeric This property provides access to the minimum time remaining (if any) of a minimum On/Off time control action for the represented UCM device. PUTS are also allowed so that an operator can intervene on a Minimum On/Off control action that is in progress.
Object Identifier Object ID This property is a data packet containing an object type specifier provided primarily to allow the embedding of the object ID in the returned data buffer. The unique hexadecimal ID of this object. This ID is used internally to identify the object.
Object Name Character This is the name assigned to the object. Range: Up to 32 characters.
Object Type Object Type This property indicates the objects type (i.e., analog input, binary input, TCM, PCM, etc.).
Operating Mode During Diagnostic Multi-State This property indicates the operating mode of the chiller when the last diagnostic was recorded.
Operating Mode: Unit Multi-state This property indicates the active operating mode of the UCP2 (or last operating mode if a diagnostic is active).
Outdoor Air Temperature: Active Numeric This property indicates the active outdoor air temperature value.
Outdoor Air Temperature: Input Numeric This property indicates the value of an analog input on the UCP2 which is wired to an outdoor air temperature sensor. This property applies only if an outdoor air temperature sensor is installed on an analog input on the UCP2.
Outdoor Air Temperature: Ref Property Reference This property indicates the value to be used by the BCU to determine which value to communicate to the UCM as the outdoor air temperature.
Outdoor Air Temperature: Tracer Numeric This property indicates to the chiller the outdoor air temperature. The chiller will display this value on the Human interface and could use it for Chilled Water Reset. a null referencer must be assigned if the chiller is to use its local sensor for these functions. Units: F or C. Range: -100 to 150 F (73.3 to 65.6 C).
PCL Switch Status Binary This property indicates the active status of the binary input that is part of the PCL routine algorithm. Typically, when this switch is OPEN the lithium-bromide solution concentration is OK and when this switch is CLOSED, the lithium-bromide solution is crystallizing and requires corrective action.
Present Value Multi-State This property is used to control the unit to one of nine standard operation modes. These modes are defined as UNOCCUPIED, OPTIMAL START, OCCUPIED, OPTIMAL STOP, DEMAND LIMIT, DUTY CYCLE, PRIORITY SHUTDOWN, NIGHT ECONOMIZE, and NIGHT HEAT-COOL. A translation (within the BCU) may take place to map these modes into a simpler mode set.
Product ID Numeric This property will identify the product specific to the implementation. In this case, it would be the Absorption Chiller ID number. (see also Current Product Revision)
Purge Pump Running Time Numeric This property indicates a value that represents the accumulated running time of the purge pump over the lifetime of the chiller.
Purge Pump Running Time CLD Date/Time Numeric This property indicates a value that represents the accumulated running time of the purge pump over the lifetime of the chiller.
Purge Pump Starts Numeric This property indicates a value that represents the accumulated number of times the purge pump has been started over the lifetime of the chiller.
Purge Status Binary This property indicates the active mode of a binary input that controls the purge pump.
Purge: Last Occurrence Date/Time Numeric This property indicates the time and date of the last purge cycle.
Refrigerant Flow Status Binary This property indicates the active status of a binary input that monitors the flow (YES or NO) of water (the refrigerant) in the absorption chiller.
Refrigerant Type Multi-State This property indicates the type of refrigerant being used in the absorption chiller. This will always be water.
Reset Relay Output Binary This property indicates the active status of a binary output on the UCP2 which controls the Reset Relay Output.
Restart Inhibit Timer Date/Time Numeric This property indicates the amount of time that must elapse before the UCP2 will allow the compressor to start. This property is not implemented for Tracer Summit Version 2.
Security Class BitString Contains security class setup for this object.
Solution Pump Avg Line Voltage Numeric This property indicates the average of the three values obtained from the Solution Pump Phase Voltage property array.
Solution Pump Current Draw Numeric This property indicates the percent of the maximum rated load amps (%RLA) the solution pump is actively drawing (calculated based on the average of the three values obtained from the Solution Pump Phase Current Draw property array).
Solution Pump Current Imbalance Numeric This property indicates whether there is a current imbalance based on calculations using the three values for the Solution Pump Phase Current Draw property.
Solution Pump Phase Current Draw [1–3] Numeric This property indicates the percent of the maximum rated load amps (% RLA) each phase is actively drawing (there are three phases). Array of three.
Solution Pump Phase Voltage [1–3] Numeric This property indicates the voltage for each power input into the Solution pump (there are three). Array of three.
Solution Pump Power Numeric This property indicates in kilowatts (KW) the amount of power the unit is drawing. This property will only be available if the line voltage sensing option is installed on the chiller.
Solution Pump Power Factor Numeric This property is measured at the UCP2, expressed in percent, and is used in the formula which calculates the power consumption in KW.
Solution Pump Run Status Binary This property indicates the active mode of a binary output on the UCP2 that controls the solution pump ON and OFF.
Solution Pump Run Time CLD Numeric This property indicates the accumulated run time of the solution pump since the UCP2 was installed.
Solution Pump Starts Numeric This property indicates the accumulated number of times the solution pump has been started since the UCP2 was installed.
Solution Pump Voltage Imbalance Numeric This property indicates the percentage of voltage imbalance among the three phases serving the unit based on calculations using the three values for the Solution Pump Phase Voltage property.
Steam Condensate Temp Lvg CHX Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the condensate leaving the condensate heat exchanger. This property applies to two-stage, steam absorption chillers only.
Steam Condensate Temp Lvg LTG Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the condensate leaving the low temperature generator. This property applies to one-stage, steam absorption chillers only.
Strong Soln Concentration (LiBr) Numeric This property indicates the concentration (in % lithium-bromide) of the strong lithium-bromide solution.
Strong Soln Temp Lvg LTG Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the strong water/lithium-bromide solution leaving the low temperature generator.
Strong Soln Temp Lvg LTHX Numeric This property indicates the temperature of the strong water/lithium-bromide solution leaving the low temperature heat exchanger.
Tons: Active Numeric This property indicates the active cooling capacity in tons being produced by the chiller, as calculated by the UCP2.
Tracer Comm Packet Revision Numeric This property indicates the active software revision level for the various modules in the UCP2.
Tracer Controlled Relay: Ref Binary This property indicates the active status of a binary output on the options module in the UCP2 used for Tracer control.
Tracer Controlled Relay: Tracer Binary This property is used to turn the Tracer Controlled Relay of the chiller On (1) or Off(0) from the Tracer. Default: Off.
Tracer Temperature Sensor Numeric This property indicates the value of an analog input on the UCP2 which can be used to measure any miscellaneous analog property.
