Building Installation
- This permits you to add buildings to your Tracer Ensemble database and contains information about buildings that have been added previously.
- To install a new building, click Add a New Building.
Installation Started
This table includes buildings for which installation is in process or failed without completing.
- Building Name
- Status: Shows the real-time status for buildings that are still going through the discovery process.
- Devices Loaded: Shows you how many panels were loaded out of the total number of panels discovered in the building. A panel (device) can be any Trane or non-Trane BACnet device. If a device is discovered but not loaded, it will be unavailable for management by Tracer Ensemble.
- To filter table results, select your filters and click Apply Filter.
- To start the discovery process again with the same building settings as before, select the building(s) and click Retry.
- To make changes to the building discovery settings, select one or more buildings and click Edit before you retry the discovery.
- To remove the building discovery entry and the discovery report, select one or more buildings, then click Remove.
Installed Buildings
This table includes all buildings successfully installed and active in Tracer Ensemble.
- Building Name
- Status: Shows the real-time status for installed buildings: Complete, Failed, or Partial Success. Click View Report to see additional information about the status of the discovery process.
- Devices Loaded: Shows you how many panels were loaded out of the total number of panels discovered in the building. A panel (device) can be any Trane or non-Trane BACnet device. If a device is discovered but not loaded, it will be unavailable for management by Tracer Ensemble.
- To filter table results, enter a building name and click Apply Filter.
- To edit attributes (contact name, phone number, or synchronization settings), select building(s) and click Edit Attributes.
- To synchronize all panels and their existing objects in the database with the physical site, select building(s) and click Synchronize Database.
- To synchronize the time settings on all panels with Tracer Ensemble, select building(s) and click Synchronize Time.
- To completely delete building(s) from Tracer Ensemble, select to building(s) and click Delete From System. This deletes the building and all references to the building from Tracer Ensemble except for data logs.
Note: To retain an installation log for an Installed Building, you need to save the report before deleting the building.
